Auto Insurance

Texas law requires proof of financial responsibility for anyone who drives an automobile within the state. Most Texans choose to purchase liability insurance to meet this requirement. Liability insurance pays for bodily injuries and property damage for which a driver covered by your policy is legally responsible.

  • The minimum liability insurance required by law is $30,000 bodily injury per person
  • $60,000 bodily injury per accident, and $25,000 for property damage per accident.
  • This is commonly called “30/60/25” coverage.
  • Higher coverage limits are available and can provide greater coverage than the state minimum requirements.

Home Insurance

Homeowners insurance protects you from losses caused by storms, fire, theft, and other events outlined in your policy. It is important to know what´s in your policy. This publication gives you general information about homeowners insurance, but it is not a substitute for the policy itself. Make sure you read your policy carefully and understand your specific coverages.

Flood Insurance

Texas ranks at or near the top of the nation in weather-related property damage each year. A large portion of this damage is due to flooding. Homeowners policies do not cover flood damage. However, the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) offers flood coverage in many areas. There is a standard 30 day waiting period for new applications as well as for endorsements to increase coverage. The 30 day waiting period does not apply if flood insurance coverage is a requirement of the lender at the time of closing.

Mobil Home Insurance

Mobile homes without wheels and resting on blocks or a permanent foundation qualify for a homeowners policy. However, most mobile homes are insured by a mobilowners policy. A mobilowners policy is actually an auto policy that covers mobile homes used as residences. Mobilowners policies offer limited coverage.

We know you love your all-terrain vehicle (ATV), whether you’re a rancher, hunter or trail rider. We also know that you want to be covered if your ATV is stolen or badly damaged. Proper insurance can help you protect your investment.

Many states require ATV insurance for vehicles operated on state-owned land. Your homeowners policy might not cover you if you ride off your own property. That’s why ATV insurance is especially important.

Gaps may exist on your current homeowners ATV policy. Most home ATV policies only cover the insured at their house. Your ATV may not becovered when it is driven on location other than at home. The coverage can be limited. Most home insurance ATV policies do not carry uninsured or under insured motorist coverage’s.

Progressive Insurance can cover ATV’s from three wheels up to six wheels, all operators and there are no age restrictions. Drive will cover accidents that occur on the trail or paved roads.

Progressive Insurance offers coverage for the trailer, which can be up to $10,000 worth of coverage. Flat bed trailers and covered trailers are acceptable.
